All You've Done Expressive Type Video

Content: For this assignment, we were tasked with the job of creating an expressive/kinetic type video by using Adobe After Effects. One of the main parts of the project, was to learn the program by ourselves without the help of our professor. I spent a long time watching tutorials and taking notes to get myself used to the program. Then, I chose what song I wanted to center my video around. I chose my friend's band Paint By Numbers and their song "All You've Done." The song is a breakup song that one of the bandmates made after a tough breakup. She learned that her ex was using unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with it. Her mom came into her room and said that "All he did was prove you right," which spurred the song writing process for her- the song only took 30 minutes to complete.
