Content: For this assignment, we were told to create 2 posters for a lecture series about contemporary design. On the first poster, we had to consider the typographic hierarchy of the information presented. We needed to make sure that the viewers could be able to easily understand the calendar of events and to quickly learn who the main speakers are. The poster also had to convey the excitement of contemporary design to an audience of designers and students. The second poster breaks the "grid." After viewing examples of postmodern design, we were told to see how far we can push our own poster design.
